Protesters Dispersed And Arrested While Rallying On Private Property
On July 10 2016, Baton Rouge Louisiana, a #BlackLivesMatter protest was going smoothly in the memory of recent losses like Alton Sterling. Although the protest was taking place on a private residence, police officers showed up claiming to have evidence that the rally was likely to move to a nearby freeway. The officers tried to disperse the crowd, but many were arrested for resisting. All of the patrons were invited to the gathering by the home owner.
